The Fortitude Music Hall’s ‘Spectacular Spectacular’ is the official 20th anniversary celebration of Baz Luhmann’s 2001masterpiece, ‘Moulin Rouge’. The Fortitude Music Hall plays host to an array of collaborations between some of Brisbane’s most treasured local musicians inviting patrons to dress to impress and join in one night of romance, fabulousness & true bohemian brilliance!

A ‘Moulin Rouge rock’n’roll’ show! The music from the soundtrack from the film, performed live by a 15 piece band, horn & string stage ensemble, all the dance, glamour & romance found at The Moulin Rouge scattered with the most beloved moments from Baz's infectious narrative. Arranged and performed by Brisbane theatrical art collective, Boss Moxi the evening is led by MC, Eddie Baroo (Australia, Wolf Creek, Mr-Inbetween) playing the role of Harold Zidler who guides you through an epic lineup of guest vocalists and performers including Darren Middleton (Powderfinger) Sarah McLeod (Superjesus) Patience Hodgson, Sahara Beck, Tia Gostelow to name a few…

Featuring hits Lady Marmalade, Rhythm of the Night, Like a Virgin, and Elephant Love Medley + much much more.
